Now let’s learn how to make a texture that simulates sand. The purpose of it is to use it as background for Tutorial Text Effect with stones.
1. Created a new document (CTRL + N). Then take a color “sanded”.
Rojo (Red): 190
Verde (Green): 163
Blue (Blue): 135
Pressing Shift + F5 dialog box appears to fill the background with this color. Or we press ALT + Backspace.
2. Lets give a less flat appearance. We apply the effect found in Filter> Noise> Add Noise, with a value of 10%, Gaussian and mark on Monochromatic.
3. Created a new Layer and fill color Black. Then take the Airbrush (tool Airbrush) and a large brush (about 65 pixels) make some areas white here and there, as the example. We need to look to the pressure (Pressure) of the tool is low (50% or less).
4. For the appearance is not so marked, apply a Blur (Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur) of 25 pixels or so. Then return to apply the Noise (Filter> Noise> Add Noise) with the same values as before.
5. Finally we change the layer mode from Normal to Soft Light.
Usually, we have a lot of sand for use in what pleases us. How to fund a tutorial next perhaps?
