Effect Trim
The following trick can be done with some external filters in Photoshop very easily, but as I always like to do the same but only with what brings Photoshop, here I explain how.
Step 1.
Open a new document (Ctrl + N), and we painted the background with a spot color, which we like.
Step 2.
We headed to the window channel and created a new channel. We chose the default colors (pressing the D key) and draw a figure or the letters they want to cut. Anything white will be the area of “cut”.
Step 3.
Now we click on the RGB channel in the Channels window and then another click Layers window to return to the drawing area. Create a new Layer and load the selection (Ctrl + Alt +4) we did above. We fill the selection with another color or a texture that you will use below as the main color.
Step 4.
Without deselecting, create another layer above the previous one, soften the selection (Ctrl + Alt + D) to a value of 3 pixels and invest (Shift + Ctrl + I). Move selection 4 pixels to the right and 4 down with arrows. This should only move the selection and NO texture. Then fill the selection with black.
Step 5.
Refresh We return to the first selection, then return to investing, but this time we press the button Delete (or Delete as they like!). So we get the rest of the black color that we do not care.
