Fluffy texture in Photoshop

As a first tutorial on creating a texture, I will explain how to make one of the first textures I learned to do. It is very simple and can be done from Photoshop 4 onwards.

1. Created a new document the size you need texture, and apply a Filter> Noise> Add Noise with a value of 999 (400% in Photoshop 6). We chose Gaussian and Monochromatic.

2. Next apply a small blur to the image (Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur) with a value of 3 pixels.

3. In. We need this a little more defined, so let’s Image> Adjust> Auto Levels.

4. This is what makes all the work really. Now we have to apply Filter> Stylize> Diffuse. We chose Darken only and ready.

We have to apply 3 times more the same effect, for which we press CTRL + F 3 times.

5. Now so we can only give a little color. This, as always, will Image> Adjust> Hue / Saturation, we mark Colorize and entered the following:

Hue: 40.

Saturation: 60

Lightness: 20.
