1. Started creating a new document and making a background like sand.

2. Then create a new Layer, and wrote the text that we are going to convert. Doing right click on the layer of the text chose Rasterize Layer and Render Layer. We need to look to the source has to be as “wide” as possible.

3. We press D then X to have chosen the white color. Next, go to Filter> Texture> Stained Glass and we use the values:

Cell Size: 6

Border thickness: 4

4. Took the tool selection Wand. Now, select one of the black areas and then going to Select> Similar. Now all sectors should be selected. If one does not it is, pressing SHIFT we click in sectors not be selected.

5. Going to Select> Save Selection to save the selection we as a Channel and then deselect by pressing CTRL + D. Now soften the edges as explained in Tutorial Rounded edges, but with a value of 2 pixels in the Gaussian Blur.

6. Now the magic begins. We CTRL + click on the channel and return to the document. We delete the Layer with the text and create a new one. With color black chosen and loaded selection, we press ALT + Backspace to paint. NOT deselect.

7. We return to the Channel and apply a Blur 3 pixels approximately. Now back in the Layer you created in the previous step, apply Filter> Render> Lighting Effects with the values that you see in the picture below.

8. Stones are also very dark, so going to Image> Adjust> Brightness / Contrast and brightness to climb the 100% . Then we return to do but with the value between 30% -40%.

Then let Filter> Noise> Add Noise with a value of 10%, Gaussian and Monochromatic. Now IF deselect.

9. Finally, we create a new yesterday between the background and text, and make a shadow, as explained tutorial Shadows.
